This cozy, family-style Mexican restaurant is clean, comfortable, and full of heart. The food is delicious and made with care, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it feel like home. The owner is wonderful—so kind and attentive—which made choosing this spot for my birthday feel extra special. This is one of our regular rotation places. I'm a homeschool Spanish teacher for a few kids in Garland and I arranged with the waitstaff for our small class of five to come eat lunch and speak in Spanish to the waiters. All in all, we were a large group, five adults and five kids, and the waitstaff was engaging and fun and made the whole experience memorable and engaging, walking us through words in the menu, greetings exchanged between friends, and helpful phrases to receive assistance in a Spanish-speaking environment. The whole lunch was awesome, and the service was prompt and cordial and enthusiastic. Oh yeah, ¡la comida fue deliciosa también!

My boyfriends parents introduce us to this restaurant down the street from our house. Food and service was great! We came twice in a week bc my boyfriend was craving the menudo again. Def a go to spot for some great food.

I had the huevos la Mexicana with added chorizo, fresh squeezed orange juice, and some of the best diner coffee I've had. House made green & red sauce was provided. All in all a killer breakfast.

Tried this place 1st time food was good service great. I love the fact they work as a team and go beyond on service. Will be back.
